This is a little odd. Not only is there a sudden rocky area in the pasture but there's also a pool. It looks to be fairly deep and surrounding it is a rocky enclosure, witth one haigher area that almost seems to have a tiny path leading from it. You can see the steam rising from the pool so it must be heated. Actually, a dip in a hot pool sounds rather good right now.

You walk into the rock area and dip the tip of your foot in for a better sense of the water. The ground beneathe you is rough and brown. If it wasn't for the fact that this hasn't been a rocky ara you might feel this was natural...

Was that movement in the water? Naw, just a flicker of the light passing though. You look down in curiousity, wondering how deep the water really is.

A huge, white thing leaps out of the water at you. You scream and fall backwards as the thing lunges, holding up your arm. You can feel your back hit the rocks with a thud and the adrenaline races through you like electricity through wire.

"Boo! Did I scare you?" wo purple eyes smile at you behind a white snout, then widen in concern. "Oh no! You're hurt...I'm so sorry...this is all my fault..."

You gingerly get up, rubbing your back, and tell her you're okay. She calms down a bit.

"I'm Shaliea," she explains to you, "Liea for short. You've stumbled upon my pool...well, and Bolt's Spring. It looks veryshallow, but there's a tunnel below that leads to the river."

"This isn't natural, as you might have guessed it was made."

"Did you want to go see Bolt? She's up that way. Be careful where you step!"
