Through the soft rustle of the bright green flickers of grass and jagged rocks, there is the slosh and trickling noise of a small amount of water. Beaing rather thirsty yourself, you go to look for said water. In not too long you stop looking for the water, and instead listen to it until you can determine its souce: behing you, fron a crack in a rock, there is a stready trickle of water: a spring. You walk toward it to nab a drink, but another noise greets your ears.

"Psst! Kinn'shal!"

And that's it. There doesn't seem to be anyone there......maybe you've been spending a bit too much time out here.

You lean down into the cool spring and feel the drift of water upon your lips. You take deep gulps, greatful for the chill of the water.

Scuffling? Whas that something you heard?

You look up.

Two tiny creatures stand before you. The first is lupine, with a slate-gray body and blue spots. He stares back at you playfully with two bright ambered yellow eyes. The other is equine, with a blue body, grass-green makrings, and a fluffy goat's tail. It (he?) steps back as he stares into your face.

"Erm...hello?" How do you greet this type of creature?

"Hello," the equine says, and bows slightl to you. "I'm Kinn'shal, Planet's reflection. This is Tretaine. He's an elemental, and I'm a Myon."

"Erm...not to sound rude, or anything...but don't wolves eat...?"

"Not a wolf! I'm an elemental, and yes, that does make a difference," Tretaine replies, seeming to laugh silently at your assumption. "Anyway, we just thought we'd warn you that drinking from this spring coudl be fatal to your health!"

"What!?"

The wolf...er, elemental breaks up lauging. "Sorry, but we pull that on envey traveler who comes by...on your way.....then..."

"Goodbye!" Kinn'shal shouts at you as you exit.

Myon from Vah'se'kahra; Elemental from Aran'tri'karnith.
