"So, have you a wish to know about the Devi? Very well; I shall tell you of them. Devi were once the companions to humans, for long ago they establishd a supriour bond. However, when the humans fell to fighting and died, the Devi bonded to the human died as well. Good riddace to the humans, I say, when the Goddess rid Savine of them to aid the Devi. No offence to you, or course. I myself am far to young to have seen such a war and for all I know it never was; I know only what I have been told by my elders. Anyways, when the Goddess has moved the humans elsewhere she also took away the Devi's telepathy to ensure the the Devi never again made such a foolish mistake."

The shaggy red wolf grins at you and you once again wonder why you allowed him to tag along with you. However, he seems to know more about the land and it might be dangerous to cross the Lands without them. With an internal sigh you continue along the path, only to be interrupted by a small chittering form. She/he is a small dragon, tan with an almost grainly coloration to the skin and blue eyes."Relax, Aleane, a single human is hardly going to cause trouble in Taldiva Granen," the wolf says with a lught.

The dragon calms down noticably, and gives out a long series of questioning trills. "I'll translate for her," the red wolf says to you. "She'd like you to take a Devi egg to your home, she says. She hopes that if the Devi are reunited with good humans, then they might eventually gain back their telepathy skills. Small chance of that," and he rolls his eyes. "But I guess if she insists, it's worth a try. Would you like to bond?"

All four sands are open; check for egg availability.
